On Sat. May 3, 2003 Johnny Williams set the NHRA H/SA national record for 1/4 mile of 11.48. Also included are the 1/8 mile records of 7.16 and 92.40mph. Car passed tech and the records now await acceptance by NHRA headquarters. The records were set at Lebanon Valley Raceway, New York at the Diamond RV National Open. Weather was cool and there was a 22mph headwind. Not a bad day at the track, just wish I had been there with him.

This is a note from my boss Smitty at M&J Proformance.

I thought I would share the joy we are having over this second race of the year.

For those who don't know Johnnys car is named the Cajun Nitemare, and is a 1971 w30 442, 455 th400 H-Stock Automatic class.

Go Johnny!!!!
