Buick made 3 models that year

Buick Special - 40 series -248 cu in 115HP manual trans, 124HP Dynaflow trans.  The engine used in Dynaflow models had higher compression

Buick Super - 50 series - 263.3 cu in 124HP manual, 128HP Dynaflow

Roadmaster - 70 series - 320 cu in 152HP

If you want to know exactly what engine you have you will need to find the serial number stamped into the engine block.

Stamped on a raised boss on the right side of the engine below the push rod cover. The number is located near the front of the motor - ahead of the distributor on 40 & 50 series, near the rear of the engine on 70 series.

The advertisement says "need year and series when ordering" so I would give him that information.

Your car should have an emblem that says Special, Super or Roadmaster. Or the serial number or body number should identify it as a 40, 50 or 70 series. Look on the firewall for a identification plate. And look for the engine serial number.
