Guest buick01
I am searching for a choke thermostat for my Buick. It is a 1970 Buick Electra 225 convertible but has a 67 430 cubic inch engine in it. The "divorced" choke thermostat is broken. I can't seem to find one anywhere. This one sits in a hole in the intake manifold and connects to the choke valve. Can anyone help me? E-mail me at buick01@charter.net. Thanks, Al. NTX5467
Borg Warner used to stock some of that stuff in earlier times, usually they carried it after GM had already discontinued them. NAPA might be a possible source too.You might also find something with some of the New Old Stock parts vendors (either Buick specific or GM in general). There are several carburetor vendors which advertise in the club magazine which might have some leads on those choke thermostats too.Just some thoughts,NTX5467
