1953 crestline victoria questions

Greetings, Maybe some kind souls can help me out with a couple questions.  Is there a source for an upgraded (even if it has one) anti-sway bar?

Also, my  turn signals work but the brake lights don't.  Taillights also work.  Probably a wiring issue but I want to check the bulbs anyway as a start.  How do you remove the taillight lenses? They are kind of "floppy" and not really seated securely.

If I understand your post, all 4 turn signals work. If that is correct, your bulbs are good, your wiring is probably good and you probably have a bad  brake light switch. Quick check is to use a jumper wire between the two wires on the brake ligt switch mounted on the end of the master cylinder. The lights should light up.

 

You can get a lifetime replacement switch at Advance Auto parts. It just screws into the master cylinder and the wires just slip on.

 

To remove the lens, just remove the three screws holding the lens on.
