Century Eight
The Marshall Steam Museum is in Yorklyn DE (Hockessin) and has 16 steam cars plus additional gas and electric. Also known as Auburn Heights Preserve, it is an operating museum, with also a miniature train you can ride. They operate the cars about once a month and have a mansion you can tour. Originally a Stanley Dealer, steam has been there continuously for over 100 years. Just minutes from Longwood Gardens and Winterthur, and the Hagley, DuPont homes that rival Biltmore in NC. Great new State of Delaware state park facility and your family will gladly put up with your need for steam, if you agree to take them to Longwood Gardens. Check all their schedules and plan a trip this summer. Edited January 30, 2023 by Century Eight (see edit history)
