Auburn 1935 Supercharged Oil filter and revolutions counter.

Recommended Posts

Dear forum mates,

I would appreciate if you can let me know what oil filter canister models was the mentioned car equiped with.I think is a PUROLATOR  but I need to know exactly the model of that brand and if there was alternative brands for the same application.

On the other hand,we are looking for the part bolted on the engine that makes the revolution counter work.I imagine should be a kind of pinion as unfortunately the part is missing so I would appreciate a picture from that to make certain at least what we are looking for!

Many thanks in advance!

I have the correct oil filters for 1934 - 1936 Auburn 6 & 8. Purolator is correct.  I have the other part as well.

Go on-line and Google auburnsmidwest. The s/c engine is fully documented there.
