CNRKO
I was asked to id make, model and year of the car in the attached pic, I'm pretty sure that it's a 1935 Ford Tudor, but the plate holder looks a bit off. The lines in the rear side window seem right for a '35 but not '36. TIA for the help.
dustycrusty
1935 had wire wheels, 1936 used stamped steel wheels.
CNRKO
Good Call! Thanks. i just looked at a bunch of pics, the wheels look right but the '36 has something (taillight maybe?) coming out from the passenger fender? Wondering if maybe the owner just swapped the wheels for the stamped ones? But looks like the 1935 model also had this light, maybe just missing from the car in the pic. dustycrusty
Up until 1938 (I think), "Standard" model Fords got only one tail light, while "Deluxe" models got 2. But try finding a restored Ford from that era with only one these days!
CNRKO
Awesome! That would explain the differences that I'm seeing with 1 vs 2 taillights. Thanks again for the knowledge! I appreciate the help.
