(craigslist.org) Seller's Description: Up for sale is my 1972 Mercury Monterey with just under 49000 original miles. The vehicle is in good condition. The interior is almost pristine with the exception of a single crack in the dash (see photos) and the clear plastic hand crank knobs for the rear windows. The exterior is fair but has no major rust with paint blemishes mainly focused in the rear of the vehicle but it is original to the vehicle and looks very good for its age. This engine is in excellent condition and runs flawlessly. It has very cold air conditioning. Recently replaced (within 2 years) Master cylinder. Rear pads, rotors, and slave cylinder. Radiator. Points and condenser. Starter solenoid. Ignition coil. Tires. Thermostat. Sway bar end links. Upper control arm bushings. (craigslist.org) Seller's Description: A very solid 1972 Mercury 4 dr sedan with 52,000 original miles. It runs and drives well. I recently replaced the muffler and repaired the windshield wipers. It is not a rusty car. Get in, turn the key and go. Interior is in very good condition. The paint is presentable. Needs nothing I am aware of to cruise and have fun. Its 53 years old and it's a big car as they were built back in the day. The title is clean and, in my name, and I am a private seller. Cash person to person. It is for sale if you see it.
