mitchwhodge
My 1933 Chrysler has a long way to go before I even attempt to start it, but... I did manage to find the time to restore the radio that was in the car, quite pleased with the finished look of the radio, and now a playing radio. Hopefully the car responds as well too. Attached are the before and after photos of the Philco car radio
stretch cab
The radio really looks good. Did you restore it to factory specs or use modern internals? I assume you are going to just get the car running and enjoy? I can't imagine it ever looking better than it does now. I love unrestored cars!
mitchwhodge
Radio is to factory specs, no modern internals. As for the car leaving the exterior paint alone, restoring to good running condition. Slowly going thru it. Engine is now free, car had been sitting for 30 years, cleaning out gas line, gas tank and new tires next. Nobody wants to drive on 40 year old tires, or I should say I do not.
