Gunsmoke Posted February 6, 2022 Share Posted February 6, 2022 (edited) Appears to be a thumb/wing nut for a folding or tilting windshield, looks from photos like threaded end has been plugged. It may also have had a threaded stud coming out of lower end and been a thumb screw. Looks to be about2.5"-3" wide, pretty large, may have been part of hardware for securing a folding top. This photo shows both a pair of thumb bolts and thumb screws used on '31 Chrysler CD8's(don't match your part), but it would likely have been for one or the other in purpose. Depending on size, I might be interested in a couple of pair as I am missing all these thumb parts for my Roadster project (my thumb pieces are 1.75"-2" wide).
