"Motor Tested" Brand

Anyone here familiar with this brand?

I have a new old stock, American made, ignition coil that's been in my garage for years but I cannot remember what it was for and a search of Motor Tested ignition parts (and the part number MT11P) comes up blank.  According to the box they made lighting and fuel pump parts as well as ignition.  This is an early style coil with the positive lead on the bottom, as you can see.

I've posted pics of all sides of the box and the coil itself.  One inside flap shows what may be a print date for the carton (5-48), which might not help date the coil, but it could help date the brand.

Looking for any info on the company and, of course, correct application for this part.

Appreciate any and all input.

Can't find Brand. Mfg in Fair Lawn NJ, They might know.
