Graham Goetze Posted April 3, 2021 Share Posted April 3, 2021 Hoping someone can advise me on the necessary oil seals at the front end of the crankshaft. There is a seal at the outer face of the timing case which is held in by a circular plate with two screws. The picture in the manual shows a 'crankshaft gear oil seal' ( item 71 ) which seems to point further inside. Is this the thin sleeve attached to the inside of the timing case or is there another seal inside it?
