1929 Buick with adjustable shocks

Does anyone have knowledge or pictures of a dash mounted lever that controlled the shock absorbers on a 1929 Buick?  The lever was attached to a rod that went to bell cranks and other rods and eventually to the shocks.  There was a plate on the dash that was marked with a scale from 1 to 10 with 1 being the setting for smooth roads and 10 for rough roads.  I saw one in a barn in Indiana in 1978 and have never seen another.   Thanks.
