Service AC light on dash.

How can I reset the service AC light on the dash?

The system has been updated from freon to R134a. Can't get the Service AC light to reset, consequently the air conditioner will not come on and the system runs in the "Econ" function.

Any suggestions.

One method that has always worked for me is to remove the positive

cable from the battery. You will hear a lot of clicking from

various points of the engine compartment. Wait a couple of minutes

and then replace the cable. The lite should not come on again. That

is, if you do not have a serious problem like no refrigerent. Also

you will have to reset clock and radio settings. Undoing the battery

lets the computer shut down and hooking it up again reboots the

computer to it's default settings. Good luck, Stu.
