'73 Cutlass Supreme Coupe w/455, body stats?

Hi!

Let me reminisce for a paragraph or two, then I'll get on to the question! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif" alt="" />

In Feb. of '73, I ordered a Cutlass Supreme Coupe, 455 w/QuadraJet, THM400 trans, PS, PB, A/C, ECP rust protection. Fire engine red, with a white vinyl top, black interior. Loved that car. Very classy looking, and it would go! I always thought it was the best looking of the '73 - 77 midsizes.

But time wasn't kind. A year after I bought it, the Arab oil embargo, gas prices went up and up. Living in a cold and road salty climate meant a new dual exhaust system about every 3 years. By 1980 had rust holes in the front fenders, and I think one of the rears was starting to go through. But then cars didn't last as long as they do now in road salt. I sold it real cheap in 1980 to a relative, who used it to drive down to school for the next 4 years. It sat in one spot most of those 4 years, except to/from school/home at semesters. When school was over, they traded it in on a POS Chevy Citation. I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't become somebody's refrig or stove within a year or two.

But a lot of good life's memories with that car.

Anyway, can anyone tell me, or direct me to where I can find out the:

Wheelbase of the Coupe?

Overall Length and Width of the '73 Coupe?

Weight of a 455 Automatic Cutlass Supreme?

Thanks for any and all help <img src="/ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif" alt="" />

Thanks for the info, rocketraider!

IIRC, the curb weights were for a stripped down model, so I'll add a few hundred pounds for the accesories and bb engine and big trans. I was trying to compare the size of my old Cutlass Supreme to the three remaining big RWD cars of today (MGM, CV, TC).

The Cutlass was not the first, but was the last GM car I bought. Nothing against the Cutlass, it was a great car and I really enjoyed it. I came from a GM-buying family, in a GM-buying neighborhood. But so much changed as the 70's rolled along and the CAFE standards came in. Too many friends and relatives bought Chevy Citations, Pontiac Phoenix's and the like, and had all sorts of trouble. I departed for the blue oval, only buying big RWD cars and full sized trucks.

Thanks again for the info!
