Reply to Seller through Craigslist email to 38a7e102cad53da6a8ccb6d9d19d00c3@sale.craigslist.org Link: https://stcloud.craigslist.org/cto/d/saint-cloud-1964-chrysler-new-yorker-413/7184154027.html Seller's Description: Here's a great opportunity to get into a big-block mopar for not much cash. For some reason, these Chryslers don't demand big money despite being reliable, well built, and comfortable. I bought this car 3 years ago out of a barn. It hadn't run since '94. Somehow, it wasn't all chewed up by mice! I did all the important re-start stuff, then replaced the following: All brakes (shoes, hoses, cylinders, lines, converted to dual master, parking brake) Timing Valley pan, intake/exh. gaskets, valve cover gaskets. Carb (650 avs2) All fluids Dash lights, rebuilt dash including heater controls (difficult) New rear belts for safety. New tires. I also did some bodywork on the rear window area and rear passenger fender. Car is otherwise essentially rust-free, i.e. you wont see rust holes or anything structural for a long time. Bodywork is glass over new, welded steel. The paint is good, but needs the attention of a buffer. Interior shows appropriate wear, and is fully functional. No seat covers. All in all, a very nice running and driving car. I've used it daily, with the wife and kids, for the last two years (except on snow and ice!) Comes with (and eventually needs) water pump tranny, filter/gasket, oil pan gasket, oil pump, fuel pump, new galvanized fuel tank ($$$), all ball joints, all wheel/axle bearings/seals, all front-end bushings, all shocks, lowering blocks, Probably other things as well. All these are new parts I've purchased in case they got hard to find. Nothing is immediately necessary. This is a good car. Covid's got us short on cash, we've got a single stall garage, and our winter car is on it's way out. I'm not happy to sell it, but there comes a time in every man's life. Cherish this old beauty. Selling below market value: NADA avg. $8,078 Hagerty avg. $7,700 PS. I'm only doing email for initial contact, there are just too many spammy calls these days. It's a shame.
