Guest Posted November 23, 2002 Share Posted November 23, 2002 A friend of mine just picked up a nice 50 Chev 2 dr sedan and has to have the local sheriff's dept inspect the vehicle for VIN # because it came from out of state. Guest Posted November 24, 2002 Share Posted November 24, 2002 On the possibility that the car is from canada you will find the serial numbers onthe firewall data plate either below pass side of hood or below that on the vertical portion of firewall.
