Does anyone know if a trunk liner kit for a 1957 Ford Galaxie would work in a 1957 Mercury Montclair?

To the OP,  sorry you got nothing but that one insipid self-serving (non)response to your question.

 

In the event that you should return after several months to look for a response: I don't have specific knowledge of the '57 full size Mercuries and same year Fords, but I do know that they weren't built on the same platform in 1957 as they were in 1961 and 1962. With that in mind, I'd say it's unlikely that they used the same size and pattern of trunk covering material. It's possible that they actually did, but I'm guessing not. One possibility is that you could order a full size Ford kit from a company that has a return policy and see if it fits. If it doesn't you can send it back or possibly modify it a little to fit, depending on the differences. If you aren't a real stickler for originality, that might work. I don't know hhow similar the printed design (usually some vaguely plaid motif) was for Ford and Mercury during the same year.

 

BTW, I don't think Ford made the Galaxie until the 1959 model year. Good luck.
