Summershandy Posted November 9, 2019 Share Posted November 9, 2019 I was travelling through Grand Marais MN and spotted this at a garage so I thought I'd take a peek. Plates were North Dakota 1972. It's in pretty rough shape but still catches my eye. Has the glass behind the seats with cabinets. Sure would be fun restored. I'm guessing 1955 Superior Pontiac? Guest Posted November 10, 2019 Share Posted November 10, 2019 Many Pontiac's were used a hearses and limousines by smaller or rural Funeral Directors. They were very good vehicles. The only problem was when they started using ball joint front suspension. They were not strong enough for the loads and the rough rural roads.
