Gary I Zimmer
Hi everyone. Have a front axle as shown. 1920s? Front suspension was 2 parallel leaf springs, so not a Ford. It has cable operated brakes with both internal shoes (long gone) and external bands. The internal shoes are operated by a shaft that has a UJ at the backing plate. The other end of this braks actuation shaft has a ball joint and flange which I assume connects to the chassis. It appears to be RHD, so it could be either British, or maybe a US make assembled locally (Australia), as some were. Any ideas appreciated.
