JJ62
Hello all, I'm going through the brakes on my '63 and there is brake fluid in the vacuum tank. I'm assuming that I need to replace the booster or get it rebuilt. What are my options for each of these solutions? Thanks in advance, Jim
KongaMan
If you've got brake fluid in the vacuum tank, you've almost certainly got a leak in your master cylinder. You might take this opportunity to upgrade to a dual master.
JJ62
I've been reading up on that, probably the way to go, but I just want to go with what I have. I already installed a new MC. Rock Auto is out of stock on boosters, so a Dewey rebuild may be my only option.
