67 Riviera flasher screw

Recommended Posts

I replaced my turn signal flasher canister, and my turn signals started working I just had to make sure the screw was in the right spot. Today the turn signals were not working and in trying to find the sweet spot, I ended up stripping something now the flasher screw won’t go on properly. Can somebody help identifying what I need? Do I need the new turn signal switch with the corner lights? Looking at the piece on rockauto, it looks like it does NOT come with the screw for the “flasher” top to lock onto. Please send help, this is currently my daily and I need my turn signals!

Based on your photos, the pull knob separated from its metal screw. I would just JB weld it back on.

Normally the screw stays with the knob.

The knob with its screw together  normally "screws" into the plastic on the switch assembly. It looks like your plastic is still OK.

Just hand tight, its only plastic.
