The_Amateur
Hey Everyone, I'm hoping someone can identify the type of vehicle that this connecting rod is from. The number on the shaft is 1262 1/2 followed by what looks like W. The number on the large head is 1263 1/?. Also on the large head is what looks like C.P.W. Total length of the connecting rod is approximately 12 3/4". I found the rod among some pretty old items including an Eagle brand brass carburetor (which I think came from a 1919-1921 Maxwell Motor Car). But the connecting rod could really be from anything for all I know (including agricultural machinery?). I have attached some pics for you all to look at. If you have any questions or if I can provide any further information that would help please let me know. Thanks!
allfords2737
Forging #1262 should be for a Fordson tractor up to 1928.
