Guest Posted October 17, 2002 Share Posted October 17, 2002 Before painting, tape tracing paper on each panel and mark the panel ends with the side of a pencil lead and mark the position of the pin stripes. Make one for the fender, door and quarter. Then cut out a cardboard template that follows the pinstripe. The cardboard template can be taped to the panel and pull-out-center tape used to paint the stripe or an artist sign painter can use a magnetic tape to follow from your cardboard template and hand paint the pin stripe.
