In search of 1930 Radiator

Hi  Ed,   Up to  the  year  1929 Hupp  used  a  honeycomb core in their radiators.  When they  bought the  Chandler plant  in  Cleveland and  started producing the  Model  S  and  L they started using straight  fins in the  cores which is  easier  to  clean . On the  straight fins  the  top  and  bottom tanks  can  be  removed  to  rod  the  fins  out.  The  honeycomb have  to  be  put  in a  tank  and boiled,  which  does not  always  get  all the  scale out. The  plus  is  that most  radiator  shops  still in  business  today  can  replace  the  straight  fined  cores  with  new  ones.   I  hope  someone has  one  for  you, but  if  not, I  have  a  radiator  that is  correct for  your  car  but  its  not  available until April 2019.
