1965rivgs
Please send a PM if interested $50 plus shipping This is a correct Rochester 4GC carb for the `63 401 engine. Obviously the carb needs to be rebuilt and appears to be very complete. Both the primary and secondary throttle shafts as well as the choke and associated linkage all move freely. The 4GC carbs are very rebuildable and hold up well due to their cast iron base. Buick used these carbs as well as the AFB models on the 401 cu engines and both can be interchanged with no other modifications. This carb will fit the original air cleaner base and does not require linkage mods as the aftermarket carbs require. I doubt that this carb has ever been disassembled as the triangular tab w/part number generally get tossed during the rebuild process but remains in place on this carb.
