GYR
Hello, I am looking for someone who made have a 1937 Chrysler with the original window stamp or a Chrysler close to the year of 1937. We have finished restoring a 1937 Chrysler Imperial Convertible Coupe and in the process of restoring another one. We would like to get their windows and windshields with the correct glass stamping if there was one. so any picture of what I am looking for would be great. PLEASE email at webmaster@graveyardrun.com or feel free to call me, Rachel, at 615-765-7076. Also, I have do some research on the glass and got no where as to who produce other than I know McGraw glass company did the Desoto and that PPG was a big automotive glass maker in the 30s. I have contact FCA as well as posting this question on FaceBook. So please I am hoping someone can help me.
Curti
I think you mean glass etching. Auburn used LOF glass in the 30's. I think PPG bought out LOF, but not sure.
