bigbry13
UPDATE: the power glide transmission has began slip and will need servicing. car still moves and goes into gear fine but it will need serving to drive long distances. I have access to a working power glide for $100 but the car is being sold AS IS1956 Chevy 210 2 door sedan. Bone stock car with one repaint a long time ago. Painted in factory colors of Sherwood green India ivory. Original 6CYL 235 engine, just turned 70k miles. Original powerglide 2 speed auto. This is a rust free car that is very solid, and has the perfect patina to it.I bought this car from a friend in June of 2017 where it sat tucked away in his garage for over 20 years. Since then it has a lot of work done to it including.new gas tank . New fuel lines. Brake drums cut, new shoes, wheel cylinders, lines, hoses. New fuel pumpRebuilt carburetorGlass bowl fuel filterNew plugs, points, wires, condenser etc..All fluids flushed and changedBrand new radiatorNew water pumpHosesBeltHave larger 6 blade fan with it tooFront end rebuilt (using all MOOG parts) including inner and outer tie rod ends, control arm bushings, ball joints and i added the cpp idler arm bearing kit (poor mans power steering)This summer, I have added brand new diamondback white wall radial tires ($1000+) New batteryAlternator bracket With harness kit (not yet installed Front end alignmentThis is a great looking car that gets stopped wherever it goes. It is a driver that can be driven without worrying about flaws and can still be shown with pride. It has some wear and tear but it is the effect driver quality car. I take it everywhere I can. The drivers side window is out but I have the glass for it and will be an easy fix. All other glass is great and rolls up and down like butter. The doors open and close very nicely and all the chrome and stainless shows well for a driver.Asking 18.5k.
