Guest
My daughter is purchasing a 1995 Supercharged Riviera. Is there any potential problems I should look for before she finalizes the deal.
Guest
I think they are a pretty well biult soild car. We have a 95 Park Ave.Ultra, which is basicly the same power train. Had some ABS-Traction control problems that we gort warrented. That's about it at 59,000 miles. Like any other used car it depends on the milage and car its had. One plus, look into the 25Hz bodycontruction of the late Rivieras and Olds Aurora. I wish my kids were driving one.
NTX5467
I don't know if this is really a wear issue, but most of the later superchargers were built so you could change the oil in them. There is a particular GM part number on that special lube as the supercharger has its own oil supply/reservoir. Seems like the first year supercharged 3800 did not have that provision, but the later ones did. In any event, check the owners manual on that issue. In general, they are good cars with strong body construction (as mentioned).Emjoy!NTX5467
