Guest
Don't laugh. The hood and trunk lid of my black '90 convertible (which sat under a tree for a year in Raleigh, N.C.) looks almost as bad. If the photo is legit, it's only the clear-coat, not the paint itself. I buffed the whole thing out to see if I could get away with just panel-painting, and that's when I discovered that clear-coat has a nature as evil as Teves. The Village IdiotP.S. Have GOT to get around to apologizing to peterg. Think I'll send him flowers.
Guest EDBS0
Nic;In my Internet explorer I have a Favorites Folder called 1Misc. The name is unimportant it is just a folder where I save bookmarks that are unimportant and temporary. I often delete the folder and all in it to start over. This is where I save these photos to post. Go to this link and scroll down until you see the car photos. Supersize the hood photo or photo of your choice. Then click on Add to Favorites and save in I Misc. Remember the name! Next open I Misc (Usually in a new window) and open the saved Bookmark and you have the photo with an Internet Address. Highlight the address and press copy. Next on the posting page you will see [color:\\"purple\\"]Image Click on Image and a box opens. After box opens click OK. immediately and now in the body of the message you have image]http://[/image ( I took the opening and closing [ ] off so it would not perform the operation and you can see it. Next highlight the http;// and then hit the paste button and you have entered the address. With the "I want to preview my post." ticked click "continue" you should see the photo in the text body of your message.Note sometimes the "Copy shortcut" is lit and you can click that and just paste to the posting in the "http://" position. Could be better or other ways BUT this is how I do it. You have homework . . . Now go post something. OK
Guest
Robert:Looks like you are borrowing the URL on an eBay auction pointing to a picture. Is this true? And does this mean the picture will disappear from the Forum in several months when eBay deletes this auction from their database?Wish I could figure out how to post a picture by my name.
