If you think your fuel tank is empty, look closely at the guage, you will find a peg at the bottom. Sometimes it jumps that peg somehow. Other vehicles havie this problem also. Simple fix, get two small SUPER MAGNETS, regular one won't work, then placing theses magnets as close as you can get to the needle, when you see it move, take it counter clockwise past full toward empty, the needle will fall into place.
