Bellows Type Thermostat?

A 57 is probably the production date. It most likely fits a wide variety of British cars from the mid 1950's to the later 1960's.  Being a bellows type it probably has little value except as a display piece. Most people with cars this will fit will use a easily available ; off the shelf, modern replacement. Thermostats are one item where origionality is a unimportant quality. What matters is that the thermostat works as intended, so newer is better.
