Guest
Hello - I have a 1976 Olds Delta 88, 4 door, hardtop, with about 51K original miles on it. (I am the third owner - know the other two.) I would like to sell it and was wondering whether it would be better to sell it as is or restore it first. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
liame@peoplepc.com
rocketraider
You have to decide whether you can recoup restoration costs when you sell the car. On a 1976 Delta sedan, I doubt you will. The market is limited and most people interested in such a car are looking for a nice driver, preferably a good original and not a showcar. There are two in the Durham NC Herald-Sun classifieds right now that are asking around $4000 and have been listed for several weeks.
Now, if it is a 455 car, unusual color and options, it might find a home a bit more easily.
