This 1956 Chevrolet 3100 Cameo Pickup was recently restored and has been driven less than 550 miles since completed. Originally a Kansas truck, close inspection shows no signs of rust damage. It is just as straight underneath as it is on the top.  The former owner completed a very thorough nut and bolt restoration. The overall fit and finish is excellent. The paint is gorgeous and the two-tone matching interior still looks like new. For reliable highway driving, the rear end was fitted with a 3.38 ring and pinion and the truck rides on nearly new Coker radial tires. The proper 265 CID V-8 engine starts easily, idles well and makes plenty of power. The dual exhaust gives the engine a nice, mellow yet throaty sound. The three-speed transmission shifts smoothly.
