Guest
I have recently stumbled accross a collection of very very early brass carburators with clear glass float bowls, many dating from 1909 or earlier, also a large pile of very early brass bulb horns where the bulb goes back to the driver's compartment. Is there anyone out there skilled in the identification and applications of these items. I can provide photos to anyone that responds. Thanks chip
Guest
Chip, I would be interested in seeing pictures of what you have found, if possible. I would also be curious as to the size of both the carbs and horns. Thanks.<BR>Chris

carbking
Exact identification of the Stromberg glass bowl carburetors is difficult to impossible; as there are no identifying numbers on the units (other than style and size eg. A-3 which would be a style A size 3), and each physical style and size could have up to 5 different venturi, different throttle arms, jets, etc.It is, however, quite easy to identify each unit into a group of application by style and size.Jon.
