1922 Special Six Motor (update)

I looked at the Special Six motor last Friday. Actually it's the radiator, motor, cowl, toe boards, clutch and tranny on a cut off section of frame. Engine is complete with all accessories (starter, generator, distributor, etc., all Wagner). The head had the word "special" cast into it and was dated 1-6-22. The whole works has been sitting outside for several years and although covered by the hood sections, the condition of the engine is questionable (I didn't try to turn it). The exhaust manifold is cracked. If anyone is interested, drop me a note. The owner is asking $400 for the works and if there is enough interest I might consider buying to part out.

Hey Stude
If you get it and it has a Delco-Remy 941-L generater or equivalent Let me know
And if the Love-Joy type connector that connects the generater to the Units drive shaft is still good I am interested also.
[This message has been edited by Rr20s Taxi (edited 09-29-2000).]
