auburnseeker
I've talked with a few guys that restore Cords and many drive them 3 or 4 states to get to the ACD meet in Indiana. They all seem to perform well and have few issues. OF course they are like any old car or worse yet vintage wooden speedboat. The more they are used the better they run and all the little problems get fixed so they are no longer concerns. If you think cars are bad you ought to mess with wooden boats. I worked at a Marina for a few years and with a friend in his boat refinishing business. I had the joy of being the guy that got to figure out why they wouldn't run. The number one problem was lack of use. Worst part, most were fully cosmetically restored and the mechanics were never touched save a paint job on the engine.
