Guest
Hello,
I am trying to find ANY information about the 1913 Paige Detroit automobile. I have been contracted to list one of these vehicles for sale by auction. The car is fully restored and was the recipient of the "Seniors Award" from the AACA in 1975. I have tried to find information concerning the model and maker on the internet but with no luck. I have been told that there are only 5 of these vehicles remaining in circulation today. I know very little, make that NOTHING about these vehicles and would be interested in anything someone could tell me. I have already gotten a very comprehensive photo journal of the vehicle, but I would like to know some of the history of the make before going forward with the sale. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Jerry
Clincher
The car was built in Detroit, Michigan. In 1909-1910 it was two-stroke, three cylinder, called "Paige-Detroit". Starting in 1911 it was called "Paige", and had four cylinders. The six cylinder Paige was introduced in 1915, and production continued until 1928.
