capngrog
Does anyone know what kind of transmission is shown in the below photos? It was purchased with some Crosley parts and was buried in the sand of an old pole barn here in Central Florida. It seems to be in pretty good shape externally, but I haven't disassembled it to look at the "innards". It turns , but is very stiff.Cheers,Grog
Guest Bob Call
It's a Ford V8. I believe it is for the 60 HP V8 1937 - 1939. It would also fit the 1940 V8 60. The big Ford/Mercury/Lincoln went to side shift with the steering column gear selector in 1940, I don't know about the V8 60 making that change. 1940 was the last year for the V8 60.
