If your talking about the type of belt, like should be on your Packard you're doing, I say no. Those belts are more of a heavily woven fabric. I used it on a old belt that I was having a hard time matching one time like that, but just to freshen up its looks. Came out terible looking. I guess it could work on a more modern type belt that has plys instead of the old style, but I wonder about it sliping or whatever. I know some of these belts are getting harder to find.
