Kean Thompson
I am posting this request for a club member who owns a restored 1911 Maxwell I model. It requires one connecting rod. Big end size is 1 5/8" I.D. Small end 3/4" I.D. Length centre to centre is 8 1/2". Alternatively, four non Maxwell rods of similar size. What cars used rods 8 1/2" long c. to c.???? <BR>E-mail keant@ozemail.com.au
Guest
Many rebuilds these days are with new custom aluminum rods. Obviously more expensive with more cylinders but some real advantages.
