tigersdad
Out of curiosity, what do most of you keep your tire pressure at for the 1932 or 1933 Series 80 or 90? I recently checked and had 30 pounds all the way around and bumped it up to 35 pounds. Car seems to steer a bit better, although, it has always been easy to steer. Thanks for the input.JayNovato, CA1932 Buick Series 8-86 Victoria Travelers Coupe
Guest outlaw car man
Jay-For 1933, from the shop manual, it says for 33-50 thru 90, 35# all the way around. 17X600. I use Firestone tubed whites at 35#. Manual says add 5#s front for high speeds. high speeds in our cars, 65 maybe in 2014 traffic. ? Haaaaa We got the same engines I believe, but at altitude, I'm losing a lot of HP, maybe even 40% on a hot day ?Same with my antique airplanes. Different stuff living in the high country. As always, killer car you got ! Sandy
tigersdad
Thanks, Sandy! My tires are 7.00 x 18 and the manual states 35#. Was just curious if that's what all are using these days. Yes, the car has a lot of power. I brought her out yesterday here in the SF Bay Area and at 103 degrees yesterday, she ran like a champ. Although was on a back road heading towards the coast with NO traffic. Thanks, as always, for all the input.Jay
