packick
This topic may have been discussed before in the Forum but I could not find a discussion relating to it. I have a 1937 120 and need to replace the center steering linkage bearings and pin located under the radiator/engine pully. What is the best way to get at the bearings and pin to remove the old ones and insert the new ones? Does the whole front-end of the car have to come off? Can I just remove the hood, radiator and engine pully? I would appreciate any help from someone who's been there, done that.Thanks.
Owen_Dyneto
It's too long ago to remember the details but you can do it entirely from below without having to remove the radiator or anything else. You might have a better chance of getting the details if you post on The Packard Club forum (www.packardclub.org) or www.PackardInfo.com.
