reatta vice
My mechanic who services my car collection came across this barn find in Florida this past weekend & purchased this car to re-sell. He is what I refer to as "Computer Challenged" and asked me to post this car for sale on AACA forum. I am not a Hudson guy but I took photos of it today so you guys can take a look & give your .50 cent opinion as to what you think about it.He will take $7,500 the way it sits & has the ability to get it running once he gets into it to see what it needs. Sounds to me like a good buy. He says it is a Super 6 model with an aluminum body. Sorry for my lack of knowledge but I'm just not up on these cars. Car appears to be solid & complete from what I can see. If it was a Buick Reatta, I could tell you everything you wanted to know.My name is Stuart. You can call me with your questions on my cell phone @ 610-858-9366 & I will pass your questions on to him or put you directly in touch with him. Let me know what you think. I have attached the following photos. Current location is in S.E. GA.
reatta vice
I'm surprised none of you boys out there have anything to say about the Hudson, neither good, bad or indifferent. Really thought there would be some conversation since this car is fairly rare to come across one especially with an aluminum body & long wheel base. I'm guessing that since it is not running yet, there is no interest to be generated or nobody cares to talk about it.Let you know in a week or so how the progress comes along in getting it running again.Stuart
keiser31
I guess I will chime in. It does not look like a "barn find" to me. It looks to be an older, amateur restoration. It looks to have a Model A Ford taillight and some other possibly non-original parts on it. I am not a Hudson guy, but if I was wanting a car like that one, I would expect it to start, run, drive and stop dependably for the $7,500.00. Just my 3 1/2 cents. Steve Braverman
I guess if he found it in a barn, it's a barn find. Looks like a neat car. Once it's running and the wheels have been repaired, it will be a very nice driver.
