pulling steering wheel Part II

Thanks! I managed to get the lower portion of the column disassembled and was able to remove the tubes/levers. Next problem is this. I can see what appears to be a rather large nut holding the steering wheel on but it doesn't seem to turn. I am not even sure that it is supposed to. I next tried to turn the large nut at the base of the column where it joins the box but it is frozen as well. Does anyone know which of these two avenues I should pursue. I just need to get the steering wheel off, nothing further. Thanks again!
