unimogjohn
A 1928 distributor. It has an all steel body, not pot metal. They can be found on Ebay from time to time, usually with the generator, as a complete assembly. Or you might contact Fred Rawling. He may have one in his parts stash. fred.rawling@live.com And you can put in a wanted ad in the Buick Buy/Sell forum.
Leif Holmberg
Be sure to buy a complete distributor just becuse the dist.cap and rotor are different between 1927 and 1928,1928 dist.cap and rotor are much cheaper to buy than the 1927 and earlier dist.caps and rotors.Leif in Sweden.
