Brake pad services any sugestions?

I need my brake and clutch brake pads relined for my 27 Chrysler Model 50.. Any suggestions for who does these services?

I need also need the old type asbestos brake pad replaced.. Do they do this also??

I am not familiar with Chrysler brakes. Do you have actual shoes or pad that go around the drum?

I would try White Post Restorations in White Post, VA. Google search them and you'll find their website. They specialize in brake component rebuilding (as well as complete restorations). They did mine for my '30 Plymouth and they turned out perfectly.

Here is the company for woven brake material. You have to make sure that you get the correct rivet to attach them.

Most machine shops can attach the lining to the backing plates.

And yes, most restoration shops can do the entire job for you too. Just depends on your desire to do them yourself or pay others to do it for you.
