Guest mcnewse
Sanddoc, you may want to consider joining the Pierce Arrow Society. P.A.S. has an annual list of members who make reproduction parts for PAs and there are plenty of members out there willing to help with information and parts. trimacar
As far as the front spring mounts go, the Pierce Arrows of the mid to late 30's had a suspension that was supposed to help in dampening the steering "shock" of hitting bumps. To assist with this, they did have a different design on one side only of the front shackle mounts. What you have is correct and not a modification. This is from my memory of working on '34-35 PA's, I'm sure that someone else will step in if my memory is incorrect...Also, fender sidemounted wheels and tires would have had a full cover in 1936, no leather straps....
