ShawnLancaster Posted June 21, 2013 Share Posted June 21, 2013 I'm interested in learning more or maybe buying a nice 60s Saginaw 3 speed with Overdrive. I understand they were solenoid driven and first appeared in the 56 Chevy Belair 6 cylinder as an option. Also in the 60s they had a fully synchro'ed 1st gear. Wondering if anyone has experience with these, models/years they were included. I'm thinking of putting it in my 1924 Star Speedster. I already have an 80s Saginaw installed.
