Guest
I have an old karman ghia purchased from somene who's had it in their garage for 15 years... You know the deal... the $200 project special. No title. Any advice on anyone or any service where I might stand a chance of getting a title? Salvage title or custom title? Any help would be fantastic!
Thanks much,
Rich Biby
Fred Rawling
In California, a bill of sale and a non operation statement from you and the previous owner is about all you need to get a registration. I just did a travel trailer that had no identification markings or licence plates on it. I just had a statment from the Attorney in Fact of the owner and a bill of sale. This was a daughter with power of attorney and I had no problem. I just had to take it into DMV to have them look for the I D plates.

[This message has been edited by Fred Rawling (edited 02-13-2001).]
